Eid Al-Fitr Holiday [EN] – The government, through the Minister of Transportation, Budi Karya Sumadi, has announced that they will extend and advance the collective leave for Eid Al-Fitr 1444 Hijri. The plan is to start the collective leave for Eid Al-Fitr 2023 from April 19 to 25, 2023. Previously, collective leave for Eid al-Fitr 2023 was scheduled from April 21 to April 26, 2023.

This was announced by the Minister of Transportation during a limited meeting regarding preparations for homecoming traffic led by President Joko Widodo at the Jakarta Presidential Palace on Friday, March 24, 2023. “Together with the Indonesian National Police Chief, we proposed to extend the holiday by two days. So, starting from 19^th, it will be a holiday, but on the 26^th, they will be back to work. It means we added one day collective leave with two days in advance,” said Budi Karya during a press conference after the meeting.

Reasons for the Revised Collective Leave for Eid al-Fitr 2023

Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi explained that this decision was taken to give the public the opportunity to take leave early and with consideration to anticipate a high volume of homecoming traffic during Eid 2023. Therefore, the government decided to advance the collective leave to prevent congestion.

“That is because traditionally the desire to go home is very high, with a large volume of people, and if we look at it, it was all focused on only April 21, which caused an extraordinary congestion. Therefore, by advancing the collective leave, travelers can start their journey back to their hometowns from the evening of April 18, 19, 20, and 21, which gives them 4 days for homecoming,” he explained.

“As for the return, they are required to return on Wednesday, but for those who wish to have a longer leave, they can extend it until the 30th or 31st. That was the decision made earlier, the discussion was quite effective,” added Budi.

The changes to the collective leave for Eid al-Fitr 2023 have been approved and will be made into an official decision through a joint ministerial decree (SKB) involving three ministries.

HORE. CUTI BERSAMA LEBARAN 2023 DITAMBAH. CATAT TANGGALNYA!

Libur Lebaran [ID] – Pemerintah melalui Menteri Perhubungan Budi Karya Sumadi mengatakan, akan menambah sekaligus memajukan cuti bersama Hari Raya Idulfitri 1444 Hijriah. Rencananya mulai cuti bersama Lebaran 2023 adalah pada 19 hingga 25 April 2023. Adapun sebelumnya aturan cuti bersama Lebaran 2023 yaitu 21 hingga 26 April 2023.

Hal ini disampaikan Menhub dalam rapat terbatas menjelang arus mudik Lebaran 2023, yang dipimpin Presiden Joko Widodo di Istana Kepresidenan Jakarta, Jumat (24/3/2023). “Kami tadi bersama-sama Kapolri mengusulkan liburnya maju dua hari. Jadi mulai tanggal 19 sudah libur, 20 sudah libur. Tapi masuknya 26, jadi tambah 1 hari, tapi di depan tambah 2 hari,” kata Budi Karya dalam konferensi pers usai rapat.

Berdasarkan keputusan perubahan tersebut, berikut ini rincian daftar tanggal libur Hari Raya Idulfitri 1444 H / 2023 M dan libur cuti bersama Lebaran 2023:

Alasan Perubahan Cuti Bersama Lebaran 2023

Menhub Budi Karya Sumadi menjelaskan keputusan ini di ambil karena mempertimbangkan arus mudik masyarakat yang di prediksi tinggi saat Lebaran 2023. Sehingga, pemerintah memutuskan memajukan cuti bersama untuk mencegah penumpukan.

“Itu alasannya apa, karena secara tradisional keinginan untuk mudik ini tinggi sekali, dengan volume yang banyak dan kalau di lihat itu tertuju sama hanya tanggal 21 April, maka terjadi penumpukan yang luar biasa. Sehingga dengan di majukan itu pemudik bisa mulai (mudik) dari tanggal 18 sore, 19, 20, 21, ada 4 hari mereka mudik” jelasnya.

“Sedangkan balik itu mereka harus pulang hari Rabu, tapi bagi mereka yang berkeinginan untuk cuti lebih panjang bisa sampai tanggal 30 sampai 31. Itu satu keputusan yang tadi di ambil, diskusi yang cukup efektif,” tambah Budi.

Perubahan cuti bersama Lebaran 2023 tersebut juga sudah disetujui dan akan dibuat menjadi keputusan resmi lewat SKB 3 Menteri.

Jadi, buat pemudik yang ingin melakukan perjalanan ke kampung halaman, ada baiknya untuk melakukan pemesanan tiket dari jauh-jauh hari. Para pemudik bisa melakukan pemesanan tiket via www.otaqu.id, atau mengunduh aplikasi OTAQU yang tersedia di Google Play Store atau App Store.

Pastikan dan teliti kembali saat memasukan tanggal, rute serta data diri pada saat melakukan pemesanan. Rencanakan perjalanan mudik sebaik mungkin termasuk estimasi perjalanan menuju bandara. Jangan sampai keliru dan akhirnya tidak bisa mudik Lebaran, ya.
